What species of wood are used in manufacturing our log homes?
Primarily Eastern White Pine. Western Red Cedar and Cypress are available by special order.

Does Eagle River Log Homes grade each log?
Yes, after the logs are profiled, each one is inspected and grade stamped by a TP (Timber Products Inspection,
Inc.) trained and certified employee.

Can Eagle River Log Homes standard plans be modified?
Eagle River Log Homes can make changes to our standard plans or produce custom plans for your dream home.

What packages are available from Eagle River Log Homes?
We offer several options from a basic log and timber package to a weather tight package.

What is the wait time for my log package?
Normally 30 days after the order is placed.

If I need financing, who do I contact?
Your local bank or one of our recommended national mortgage companies.

How will my logs be delivered?
By local trucking companies at competitive rates, (F.O.B.) Mt. Juliet, TN.

How are logs joined together?
Each joint is sealed by drilling a one-inch hole between both logs, applying caulk and inserting a
7/8" hardwood dowel into the hole. All logs are stacked log on log with a seal gasket,
caulk, and screwed together every 24".

If I have construction questions can Eagle River Log Homes help?
Yes, we have a trained and knowledgeable staff ready to assist you.

Will settling occur after my Eagle River Log Home is erected?
Only a minimum amount of settling will occur, approximately the same as a conventional home.
